I can say without a doubt that this night I have been kept away due mostly to worry. We got our disconnect notice today from the utility company. Now one thing you got to understand about the town we live is that, EVERYTHING is all thru the city. Everything. So they are under no contracts, basicaly they can charge you whatever the hell they want. They don't have to follow the states "no disconnect" law. They can get away with shutting peoples utilities off in the middle of the winter, and these people really don't care how many kids you have, or what your excuse is for non payment. It's ridiculous but that's just how it is I guess. Jay and I are going tomorrow to get the loan from my gma to get this car because our vans tranny is fixin to blow out anytime. It's whinning so bad. The one thing we CAN'T afford to be without if a vehicle. Not with two kids living in a town that is basicaly in the middle of BFE. We are 40 miles away from just about everything...so a vehicle is def necessary. After we get the mulah from my gma we are headed to this town up the road to talk to a agency up there about fundings available to help us out with out electric bill. It's actually all rolled into one, like I said they all come together from the same place. You can't just say, "well the water bill gonna have to wait until next week". It don't work that way here. It's all or nothing basicaly. I really hope this agency will have some sort of funding available to help us out here. Otherwise it'll be us bunking with my gma until the 2nd when we can get them paid. And that I don't see happening!
There is just so much I have to do tomorrow! We are now officialy over drawn at the bank by about $20. Which isn't bad, but it's the point though. That'll be the first thing we'll have to do tomorrow is stop and make a quick deposit with some of that loan money. Just enough to pull our asses out of the fire on that one. Then we have to run by the car place and give him our partial downpayment. Then it's off down the road to the neighboring town to check in with that agency. People I have to say, that it sucks living on disability. I mean when you're broke, you're broke. Nothing else coming in AT ALL until that next month. And for two people who budget about as good as we screw, we're screwed! LOL! We are both spenders. I generally spend money on things we DO need, but could wait on. i.e. air freshners, carpet refresher, more perfume..silly things. Jayson spends on stupid things like over $200 a month of ciggs! We don't have enough money for that every month! But we are really just cancelling each other out with our uncontrollable spending habits. I know we need to help each other out and seek some sort of financial counceling or something.
Anyway, I'm off to try this sleep thing again! Hope I can pull it off this time. I grow tireder by the second. Even my jaw is starting to hurt from the clenching I do when I get tired lol. Ok bloggers, I'll check in with everyone hopefully tomorrow evening! Hope you all have an excellent day!
